This reduced the strength and longevity of the pipe. Elbow joining is the correct method.These pipes are not made for bending.

This will eventually be a plumbing standard for all fields. Flow, parts cost, labor intensive. Only concern is compromising the thickness of the sidewall, which can be solved by creating specific PVC / PEX piping designed to handle the task along side a new solvent tasked with reenforing and bonding the sidewall to compensate the loss of thickeness.
